Mother's Day Reflections

Yesterday was mother's day in Japan. We appreciate our mother's daily work including housework. I ordered my mother some sweets. She called me and we talked for ten minutes by telephone. Her condition wasn't bad, and I told her that I was grateful for having that day this year, too. I showed her my daughter's movie by telephone on real time, and she seemed to be happy. My mother  and  I were plannning to meet my daughter to my grandmother. We had proposed of having an opportunity to meet, but my grandmother refused it because of her condition. We know her condition wasn't good ,but time couldn't resolve the problem. We wanted her to meet my daughter as soon as possible. My mother said she tried to persuade our grandmother.

Yesterday was Mother's Day in Japan. We expressed our appreciation for our mothers and their daily efforts, including their work around the house. I decided to treat my mother to some sweets, and we had a ten-minute phone call. Fortunately, she seemed to be in good spirits, and I expressed my gratitude for being able to spend the day with her this year as well. During our conversation, I shared a real-time video of my daughter with her, which brought her joy.

My mother and I had planned to introduce my daughter to my grandmother, but unfortunately, due to her health condition, she declined the invitation. While we understood her condition was not favorable, time alone couldn't resolve the issue. We were eager for my grandmother to meet my daughter as soon as possible, and my mother mentioned that she would try to persuade her to reconsider.
